HBO teases “The White Lotus” season 3: 'What happens in Thailand stays in Thailand'
The next season of the anthology series about a luxury hotel chain is set for 2025.
It's almost time for another bad vacation. Timed to the House of the Dragon season 2 finale on Sunday, HBO offered a sneak peek at upcoming installments of its other original programming — including the much-anticipated season 3 of The White Lotus.
The anthology series, which was created, directed, and written by Mike White, spent its first season in Hawaii and season 2 in Sicily, each season set at different locations of the titular White Lotus hotel chain. It was previously announced that season 3 will be set at a location in Thailand and new footage confirms it.

In true White Lotus fashion, intrigue appears to surround the new season. "What happens in Thailand stays in Thailand," one character says to another while sitting beside the pool.

The Cast of 'The White Lotus' season 3.Fitting the pattern of the show so far, The White Lotus season 3 will mostly feature new characters. The cast includes Leslie Bibb, Carrie Coon, Francesca Corney, Nicholas Duvernay, Jason Isaacs, Michelle Monaghan, Parker Posey, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Tayme Thapthimthong, and Aimee Lou Wood.
But there's also a familiar face in the mix. Natasha Rothwell is reprising her season 1 role as Belinda for season 3, and there's a glimpse of her in the new preview. The last time we saw Belinda, her pitch for a new wellness business was ultimately rejected by Tanya (Jennifer Coolidge). But perhaps Tanya's death in the season 2 finale has opened up new opportunities for Belinda.

Production of The White Lotus season 3 was delayed due to the Hollywood strikes last year, and season 3 is now set for 2025 — three years after season 2. Speaking to Entertainment Weekly last year, White teased that the next installment is "going to be longer, bigger, crazier" and "I'm super excited about the content of the season."
