Harvey Price is now in a stable condition after being admitted to hospital, it has been confirmed.

The 18-year-old son of former glamour model Katie Price was rushed to hospital over the weekend after suffering breathing difficulties and developing a 42c fever.

There were fears that the teenager, who suffers from numerous health problems, was at risk of organ failure and could slip into a coma.

A representative for Katie Price has since confirmed to Standard Online that Harvey remains in intensive care, but his condition is now “stable”.

“The next couple of days are key with the doctors working around the clock to keep Harvey stable and comfortable,” a spokesperson said.

“Katie is ‘holding up’ – focusing on being a mum first and foremost.”

Harvey was taken to hospital earlier this month during younger sister Princess’s 13th birthday party, but was discharged after he was diagnosed with a chest infection.

Price confirmed to her 1.9 million Twitter followers that Harvey, who suffers from Prader-Willi syndrome, partial blindness and sits on the autistic spectrum, was now in intensive care and thanked the ambulance service for their speedy response.

“Katie has been preparing herself for this moment all his life and she’s been told Harvey is in a perilous condition,” a close friend told the Sun.

“She’s been here before, but this time it’s far more serious.

“She’s trying to be tough and strong, but inside she’s falling apart and feels helpless.”

Former step-father Peter Andre, who is father to Junior, 15, and Princess, commented on Price’s latest Instagram post, writing a heartbreak emoji and added he was “praying” for Harvey.

Price also shares Jett, six, and five-year-old Bunny with former husband Kieran Hayler.
