Harry Styles has broken his silence after it was reported he was mugged at knifepoint in London on Valentine's Day (February 14).
Appearing on NBC’s Today today (February 26), Harry was asked by host Carson Daly how he was doing after the incident.
"I’m okay, thanks, thank you," he told Carson. "Thanks for asking."
The Mirror reported that Harry was on a night out in Hampstead in London when he was threatened by a man with a knife who demanded money from him.
Harry is said to have handed over some cash before the man left.
The incident was confirmed by The Metropolitan Police who said: "Police are investigating reports of a knifepoint robbery in Hampstead.
"It was reported that a man in his 20s was approached by another man and threatened him with a knife.
"The victim was not injured however, cash was taken from him. No arrests and enquiries are ongoing."
Meanwhile, Harry also spoke out on the NBC morning show about his friendship with Lizzo after the pair were seen laughing and joking together at the Brit Awards last week.
"I just think she’s amazing, I think she’s such a great artist," Harry said.
"As a fan, what you want an artist to be is themselves, and I think she’s someone who is just herself and she makes amazing music and it’s really feel-good, and I think that’s what a lot of people need right now. I think she’s great."
When asked whether the pair might collaborate together in the future Harry answered: "Maybe!"
Today airs on NBC in the US.
