Harry Styles officially debuts his buzz cut and fans have a lot to say about it

Harry Styles’ buzz cut continues to break the internet.

Just last week, fans got a glimpse at the “As It Was” singer’s new look in a TMZ-obtained video of him and girlfriend, actress Taylor Russell, at a U2 concert.

Most recently, the Don’t Worry Darling actor, 29, officially debuted his shaved head while at a London launch party celebrating his brand Pleasing’s new fragrances. A photo of him sporting the cut later made its way to Pleasing's Instagram account on Wednesday.

The Grammy winner’s decision to say goodbye to his famous curls sparked tons of chatter online — and fans are not holding back.

Some stans are finding it hard to get on board, others are lamenting about what they seem to think was the wrong move.

There's also a few who are throwing some lighthearted jokes Styles' way, such as the one Instagram user who commented, "What ever happened to no shave November?" under the Instagram post.

But most devotees are certain that they’ll be daydreaming about Styles with or without his signature locks and are steadfast in their belief that the star is still golden.

“I've been staring at this for far too long,” one Instagram user wrote while another affirmed, “Adorable in every way.”

Styles and his hair were considered one ever since he made his debut in One Direction in 2010. The hitmaker has worn it in a variety of ways over the years as well, going from the curly 'do of his early days to shoulder-length tresses in 2015 to the clean-cut waves that saw Styles through his first three solo albums and his growing acting career.

And even hairstylist Ayae Yamamoto, the woman behind Styles’ on-stage looks, knows the power every ‘do has had on the star’s supporters.

The fans are so passionate about his hair!” she told PEOPLE exclusively over the summer, noting that working with the celebrity-status head of hair made her “nervous” at first.

“Now, though,” she said, “I get a lot of nice messages and it makes me so happy. Every time they compliment Harry’s hair, it’s a compliment for me, and it makes me so happy, like, OK, I’m doing something right here. They’re such big fans and they know his hair so well, so I want to do right by them, because now I’m such a big Harry fan too."
