Harry and Meghan make Time 100 influencer list

Prince Harry and Meghan graced the cover of Time magazine's annual 100 most influential people in the world issue.

The two quit heir royal duties in 2020 and moved from Britain to California to build an independent life,

launching their Archewell Foundation, as well as cutting lucrative deals for producing TV shows and a podcast.

Time magazine editor in chief Edward Felsenthal said the 100 list features

extraordinary leaders who in a year of crisis have leaped into the fray.

The 100 list, which isn’t ranked, named 54 women.

Among them - Olympic gymnast Simone Biles.

"So, being on the Time 100 list is very huge, never in a million years did I think I would make the list, especially after the long year and the crazy success at the Olympics. So, I'm very honored.// For years, for my professional career, I've only ever been congratulated for winning, and now it's like, for being a human, for being vulnerable. It's not what I'm used to, but it's been nice that they still acknowledge what I've done, what I've, what I've been going through and what I've overcome."

Singers Britney Spears and Billie Eilish were also honored.

(Billie Eilish) "It feels like such an honor to be an honoree. It's like very exciting and cool and, you know, because it's not like how I think of myself, really. And so, I am very flattered."It also featured political figures such as Joe Biden, Kamala Harris and Donald Trump.
