Happy Pup Pals Frolic in Snowy DC as Winter Storm Hits

A powerful winter storm dumped as much as 12 inches of snow on the Washington area on Monday, January 3, according to the National Weather Service.

The storm severely curtailed area travel, with more than 80 percent of flights at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport cancelled, according to the tracking website FlightAware. Over six inches of snow had fallen at the airport by Monday afternoon.
