Halsey Fans Soaked as They Wait for Concert to Start Amid Tornado Warning

Halsey fans were soaked as they waited for the pop star’s concert to begin at a flooded venue in Columbia, Maryland, on June 8, amid a tornado warning.

Halsey was scheduled to take the stage at the Merriweather Post Pavilion Amphitheater at 7 pm but severe weather forced the venue to delay the show, local media reported.

Staci Downing Creative filmed video showing rain streaming in through the roof, drenching the crowd.

The venue tweeted that the delayed show would resume at 9:30 pm, however the concert was cancelled not long later.

Halsey took to Twitter following the cancellation, saying she was “beyond disappointed with the way the venue handled everything” and that her rescheduled concert would be held at a different location. Credit: Staci Downing Creative via Storyful
