Halloween Kills has revealed a new look at Michael Myers in what director David Gordon Green is calling a "very aggressive sequel".
The upcoming slasher, which will see the return of Jamie Lee Curtis and Kyle Richards to the franchise, is currently aiming for an October 2021 release.
For now, fans have a brand new image of the masked serial killer to tide them over until the fun starts. Scroll down to see it.
Speaking to Total Film, Green teased what fans can expect from the sequel, including the return of some familiar faces who were terrorised by Michael in the 1978 original.
"It's about the creation of fear," he said. "It's one thing to be afraid of the Bogey Man, to have someone who might be in the closet, under the bed, creeping around your house, but we wanted to explore next was confusion, misinformation, and paranoia. What happens when fear goes viral? You can't just stick your head under the covers anymore."
Also teasing that this one will be more action-packed than its predecessor, he explained: "When we made the last one we wanted to find a way for someone who's never seen the original to get up to speed with the story. But this one gets right to the action.
"It's very aggressive. It's more efficient. We wanted it to be an explosive middle before things get streamlined and personal again."
