Halle Berry Rang in 2024 Wearing Lingerie and a Gold Blazer

Gold lang syne.

Once again, Halle Berry proved that lingerie isn't just for the boudoir. As we all celebrated the new year, the Oscar-winning actress joined in on the festivities, flipping the calendar and ushering in 2024 while wearing a high-cut lacy bodysuit, a bold, gold blazer, and ... nothing else — save for a pair of sky-high platform heels.

The superstar is no stranger to showing off her collection of super-sexy underpinnings. Throughout 2023, she shared post after post of herself wearing lingerie in the desert and sporting lingerie-inspired looks on the red carpet. But she skipped the glam environs for her latest Instagram snapshot, choosing to pose in an elevator (as one does) that matched her glitzy, glam jacket. Berry wore her hair down for the shot, which showed her surrounded by mirrors and marble as she showed off her New Year's fit.

"Heelllllloooooo 2024," she simply captioned the post.

Her fans rushed to the comments to commend her on her New Year's post, with celebrity trainer Jeanette Jenkins writing, "Halle's out here breaking the internet on Day 1! LFG!!!!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥," and Taraji P. Henson adding" Hubba hubba 😍😍😍🔥🔥🔥💜💜💜." In addition to her outfit post, Berry wrapped up 2023 by sharing a video recap of the year in an Instagram video, writing, "The story keeps getting better, ready for chapter '24 ✨"

The clip included cameos from her boyfriend Van Hunt. Late last summer, a friend told People that their relationship "is on another level."

"He is incredible. He treats her like a queen. She calls him her 'soulmate.' They love traveling, spending time at her Malibu beach house, and hanging out with her kids," the source said.
