Halle Bailey Gets Birkin from DDG in Lavish Christmas Haul Video — Plus, See Their Sweet PDA in Holiday PJs!

The rapper shared a video on Snapshot showing 'The Little Mermaid' star unwrapping a new designer bag, as well as a gold Tiffany's bracelet from her boyfriend

Halle Bailey had very merry Christmas thanks to her boyfriend DDG!

The Little Mermaid star, 23, was surprised with two lavish gifts from the 26-year-old rapper (whose real name is Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr.). DDG shared the cozy holiday moment on his Snapchat on Tuesday, posting a video of the pair opening their respective presents to each other while wearing festive Christmassy PJs.

Bailey first unwrapped a small rectangular-shaped gift to reveal a blue Tiffany's box underneath. She squealed with excitement as she opened it to find a gold chain bracelet with a lock charm.

"Oh my God! Oh my God!" she said, overcome with emotion. "This is too much. I can’t believe you got this! This is the one we tried on just to play and to pretend. Are you serious? You really got this?"

After her boyfriend helped her fasten the bracelet on her wrist, Bailey gave DDG a fierce hug.

"Don’t hug me yet because we not done yet," the Zooted Music record label founder joked, as he proceeded to hand Bailey a larger box bearing the distinctive orange color of Hermès. "Open it up! Open it up!" he excitedly urged her.

Bailey was visibly shocked to find a black Birkin bag inside, which DDG explained in text over the video was "her dream gift."

"Oh my God! Are you serious? You did not!" Bailey exclaimed as she admired the bag and then planted a string of kisses on DDG.

"This is crazy! I’ve never even had a bag like this in my life," she added, prompting DDG to ask, "Did I do good?"

Bailey also did a little spoiling of her own, gifting DDG a pair of black Balenciaga boots, Balenciaga sweats, and a set of diamond stud earrings. "These is the big earrings! Two carats," he raved, before hugging Bailey.

DDG also shared a photo the couple posing together on Christmas on X (formerly Twitter), and hinted at just how much was splashed out on the gifts.

"Spent $500,000 on christmas on snapchat," he captioned the image, directing his followers to his Snapchat video.

Bailey and DDG have been dating since early 2022. The actress opened up to PEOPLE about their fairy-tale romance in May. Asked whether her boyfriend has the makings of a real Prince Charming, she smiled and replied, "Yeah. I would say that."

She also reflected on the experience of growing and evolving as an individual within her relationship.

"I think the best thing about young love is that you're able to continue to find yourself through this journey of loving somebody else," she said. "And you're discovering new parts of yourself and maybe things that you didn't notice before about your heart."

Bailey added, "I feel like things change when love gets more involved in your life. I have definitely discovered more within myself as a woman. …It's a really cool thing to go through, but a transformative experience."

In September, the "Angel" singer shared that "love" — which she said she was "experiencing for the first time" — was a major source of inspiration for her upcoming debut solo album.

“All musical inspiration really just comes from life experiences,” Bailey told Cosmopolitan. “Love has been a really big one for me too, because that’s something I’m experiencing for the first time, and it’s like ‘whoa’ in your brain. It’s just fireworks, a spark for creativity.”

"I was very creatively inspired, and then from there, I fell in love. And so I really just played with those themes in my music," she continued, hinting at the special connection she and DDG share.

"You know, you have puppy love experiences, you think that’s love. But this is my first deep, deep, real love.”

DDG, meanwhile, revealed during an interview on The Breakfast Club that he could see himself proposing "eventually" as he raved about how Bailey inspires him to push himself and chase his goals.

"I've never been with nobody that's, like, really motivated me like she do," he explained.

DDG also admires Bailey's own drive and ambition, telling PEOPLE in October 2022 that he's "very proud" of his girlfriend's blossoming career. "I'm just happy to see it," he said. "I feel like sometimes I'm even more excited than anybody else. Just seeing it and seeing everything that she dreamed of coming to life, it's really dope."
