Hairul Azreen departs from "The Original Gangster"
17 Feb – Hairul Azreen recently announced that he is out of the new Syamsul Yusof movie, "The Original Gangster" due to his physical injury.
The actor shared the news on Instagram with several photos of the injury, which seems to have been sustained during filming.
"I'm sorry to inform you that I can't continue shooting THE OG due to the torn ACL of my left knee. I'm sorry friends & production team. It's time for me to rest," he posted.
Fans and friends took to the comments to express their concern, including his co-stars Yayan Ruhian and Sharnaaz Ahmad - the latter who wrote, "Always my little brother, till we fight again my brother, shoulder to shoulder."
The upcoming movie, produced by Syamsul's new studio, Syamsul Yusof Films as well as Razor's Edge Pictures, also star Rosyam Nor, Beto Kusyairy, Shaheizy Sam and Soffi Jikan.
Hairul is doing well after the surgery on his knee, as he shares in the video below.
