Gushing water floods streets in Spain's Laredo

STORY: Local media reported that the northern Cantabria region has suffered two days of heavy rain, causing mass flooding, overflows and the collapse of walls and roads.

The small town of Laredo is located with the Bay of Biscay to the north and the River Treto to the west, and is a primary tourist destination on the Cantabrian coast.

Schools and colleges in the town have been suspended due to the floods, local media reported.
