Play Lab is making a comeback to the 2024 Pokémon Europe International Championships in addition to the pop-up store located in the Pokémon Centre.
Fans and guests will be able to learn how to play the Pokémon Trading Card Game at Play Lab. Battle Lab will also host demos and minigames on the Nintendo Switch system for those who want to master the fundamentals of the Pokémon video games or take on seasoned Pokémon Professors in the Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet games.
Play Lab and Battle Lab are located at ExCeL London's Entrance N2 and offer varying experiences based on play level and duration.
There is no fee to participate in these events, and neither a badge nor registration are needed. The Play Lab and Battle Lab will be open from Friday, April 5 to Saturday, April 6, from 10am to 6pm, and on Sunday, April 7, from 9am to 4pm.
ExCel London provides a variety of accessibility services, including wheelchair and mobile scooter hire – but it’s best to notify Pokémon Centre staff just before your appointment.
One hour before closing is the cut-off time to enter the Play Lab or Battle Lab.
