Grizzly bears spotted wandering Wyoming streets

Local police and the United States Fish and Wildlife Service had been monitoring and escorting bears through the town of Jackson back to the Grand Teton National Park in northwest Wyoming to ensure they passed through the town safely.

The security video shared by Jackson Police department showed the bear known as Grizzly 399 and her string of cubs traveling down the streets of Jackson.

“The primary mission of the escort was to ensure the safety of the public as well as to escort 399 and her cubs through a populated area and reduce any wildlife/people conflicts,” Russ Ruschill, Jackson Police Department Lieutenant told Reuters.
