'Grinch' Tries to Damage Porterville Courthouse Using Santa Hat Molotov Cocktail

California’s Tulare County Sheriff’s Office published footage described as showing a “would-be Grinch” using a Santa hat as what they called a Molotov cocktail to damage Porterville Superior Courthouse on July 26.

Police said the damage was discovered when deputies reported for work, and that examination of CCTV footage showed a woman walking near the courthouse at 2:45 am. The woman, who was wearing the hat, lit it on fire and left it at the front door of the courthouse, causing minimal damage, police said.
