Gregory Wong wants his court case concluded as soon as possible

8 Dec – Gregory Wong is not concerned at all about his upcoming court trial, and just wants it to end immediately so he can go on with his life.

As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who will be facing the judge on 13 December for one count of entering or remaining in the Legislative Council during the 1 July Hong Kong protest, told the media, "Whatever the outcome, I just hope that the case will be concluded as soon as possible."

Gregory admitted that the lawsuit has affected his work and many of his plans could not be implemented as a result.

On the other hand, the actor admitted that court trial aside, he is more concerned about his fellow protesters who couldn't return home in the coming winter.

"It's getting colder. We had some clothing donations before, and I even donated three bags. Many of these protesters were driven homeless by their families, so I think all of us in the same circle need to help each other," he said.

Gregory was arrested in early October at the Wan Chai police headquarters under suspicion of being one of the few who breached into the LegCo chamber in the previous protest held on 1 July.
