Greenpeace activists formed the word "Future" out of giant ice letters in front of the ECB in Frankfurt am Main and demonstrated against the bank's climate policy.
"We expect of the ECB to finally get serious and take climate protection into account when they make decisions," said Greenpeace spokesman Mauricio Vargas.
Greenpeace says that the ECB is the one of the largest financiers of climate-damaging companies. And Greenpeace demands for that subsidization to stop.
"Our structure shows that the future is melting. Meaning time is running out," he said.
