Grass Fire Burns Across Street From Apartment Fire in London

More than 100 firefighters were deployed to a fire at an apartment block in London on July 20, the London Fire Brigade said.

Footage by Assan Jallow shows smoke pouring from the building and a patch of grass in Woolwich in the southeast of the city.

According to the fire department, an apartment on the 17th floor was “completely alight.”

“Firefighters are also tackling a fire involving around one hectare of grass opposite the block at the junction between Manwood Street and Silverland Street,” the fire department said.
