Grace Chan criticised after confessing love for astrological signs
6 Aug – Netizens will always find things to criticise when it comes to celebrities, as recently experienced by Grace Chan, who was accused of being "not Christian enough" because she enjoys reading about the zodiac signs.
As reported on Mingpao, the issue sparked recently, when the currently pregnant former Miss Hong Kong shared a photo of her wearing Swarovski HK's new ZODIAC necklace to promote the new collection and revealed her own love for astrology.
Admitting that she would always pay attention to the horoscope and understand the personality of family members through their zodiac signs, she wrote, "As a Cancer, I take special care of my family. I love my family and I am willing to spend more time with him! My husband is a Leo, a very responsible man. [My son] Rafa is of Aquarius, who seems to be emotional! Haha! So fun!"
"When Swarovski released the new ZODIAC series of necklaces, I immediately bought them," she added.
After publishing the post, many netizens criticised the actress, saying that as a Christian that she should not be putting her trust in astrological signs. They also added that Grace should have thought clearly before doing or saying anything that would go against her belief.
However, some fans defended the actress, saying that Grace was just advertising a brand's new collection.
