Government will announce quarantine-free foreign locations

The government are set to announce which foreign destinations holidaymakers can travel to without having to quarantine upon return to the UK. The new traffic light system will rate locations as either green, amber or red. Travellers heading to countries on the green list will not be required to self-isolate in any form when coming back to England. Although tourists must take Covid tests before and after their trip. People arriving from amber countries will need to quarantine at home for 10 days. While individuals coming from red list countries must complete 10 days of hotel quarantine. The ban on non-essential international travel will officially lift in England on May 17th. Brits are expected to be allowed to visit only a handful of places, allegedly including countries such as Portugal and Malta. .
