A mosaic of thousands of homemade cloth masks sent to New York City by people from around the country was unveiled by New York Gov Andrew Cuomo on April 29, a video shows.
Cuomo said the mosaic was a self-portrait of the goodness of Americans.
“Thank you,” he tweeted. “(And for those wondering, yes, we will find good homes for the masks.)”
“A little bit more of this, and little bit less of the partisanship and the ugliness, and this country would be a better place,” he said during a press conference where he unveiled a board displaying the masks. “Politicians, try to be half as good as the American people.” Credit: Governor Andrew Cuomo via Storyful
