Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan has reassured people that he's doing just fine during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak after he claimed that viewers expressed concern about him.

"I’m getting a lot of people asking me if I’m alright because I don’t look great," Piers said on today's show (April 6).

"To be honest it's what your normally look like," Susanna chipped in, "it's just that somebody usually covers you in make-up".

Piers continued: "After the unfortunate orange face incident last week, in which I painted by face orange, I decided to no longer paint my face.

"I've just put a bit of powder on, so if I look a bit peaky it’s because I haven’t been painted in my normal way."

"I think we would describe it as a glow," Susanna added.

Last week, Piers was mocked by viewers for having an unnatural-looking orange face similar to his friend Donald Trump.

Piers and Susanna also wished the best to co-host Kate Garraway, after her husband was Derek Draper was taken to hospital and admitted to intensive care after testing positive for the virus.

Kate and Derek were planning on renewing their wedding vows over the summer, but that's currently an uncertainty.

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays on ITV.
