Mark Few has pleaded guilty to driving under the influence in a Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, court.

Upon his plea entered on Friday, the Gonzaga men's basketball coach was ordered to pay a fine of $1,000, perform 24 hours of community service and serve a year of unsupervised probation, according to court documents obtained by Spokane's KREM 2. He's also required to attend drug and alcohol and victim impact classes, will have his driver's license suspended for 90 days and must have an ignition interlock system installed in his vehicle while on probation.

He will not serve jail time. The $1,000 fine is in lieu of a four-day jail sentence, the Associated Press reports.

Mark Few cited after report of erratic driving

Police cited Few in Dalton Gardens, Idaho, in September after someone called in a report of a vehicle speeding and driving erratically, according to a police report. Few declined a field sobriety test and later registered a .12 blood alcohol concentration on a breathalyzer, according to the report. The legal limit for driving is .08 in Idaho.

After his citation, Gonzaga suspended Few for two preseason games and its Nov. 9 regular-season opener against Dixie State. He initially entered a "not guilty" plea before changing his plea at Friday's hearing.

"I'm very, very sorry," Few said at his Friday court appearance. "It won't happen again."

Few is preparing for his 23rd season as Gonzaga's head coach, where he's compiled a 630-125 record. Gonzaga has qualified for every NCAA Tournament since Few's arrival and reached the national championship game last season, where it lost to Baylor. Gonzaga enters the upcoming season as the No. 1 team in the AP preseason poll and the betting favorite to win the NCAA championship.
