Gogglebox star Tom Malone Jr has revealed he and his girlfriend are targeted with racist abuse on social media "every single day".

The 27-year-old reality TV star has been in a relationship with model Bryony Briscoe since last year and has previously spoken out about the racist trolling she is subjected to in a bid to prevent it.

Malone told The Sun that he and Briscoe are targeted for being an interracial couple, admitting he is shocked by how persistent the abuse has become.

He said: "It’s a lot, even now we still get it. It’s not just her as well, we get it a lot as a couple. People saying things about us being an interracial couple. It can be a bit much, it can definitely be too much."

Malone confessed: "It was more of a shock how strong it was and how persistent people were. 

"People would make one fake account and you’d block it and then another one pops up, it’s clearly the same person with fake pictures and stuff.

"When it’s once in a blue moon you can kind of ignore it and it doesn’t really bother you but when it’s overwhelming and multiple comments every single day on every single post."

The TikTok star found fame on Channel 4 show Gogglebox with his parents Tom and Julie Malone and his brother Sean. He recently announced he is leaving the show after seven years.

Malone is supporting Katie Price's campaign for 'Harvey’s Law’, to make online abuse a criminal offence and to make a register of offenders, as well enforcing regulations to prevent people setting up fake accounts which allow them to remain anonymous.
