Rainbow-colored treats are having a moment on TikTok (the hashtag has over 65.1 million views), but it can be hard to settle on just one goodie to make at home. Well, Jerrod Blandino, co-founder and chief creative officer of Too Faced Cosmetics, has a gorgeous recipe for glitter ice cream sandwiches that you'll definitely want to try out.

"This recipe is perfect because it's celebrating all these beautiful, bright colors and, of course, pride," he tells Yahoo Life. Blandino created the recipe with Magnolia Bakery to celebrate his one-year anniversary of Bakeup with Jerrod, his Instagram baking show. "I love this recipe because it's actually super easy and people are going to think you spent all day in the kitchen," Blandino says.

You just need a few ingredients to make the glitter ice cream sandwiches:

Prep your cookies and buttercream frosting the night before for quick sandwich assembly. Put the buttercream on the cookie, and place another cookie on top. Take a tub of strawberry ice cream and dump it into a large bowl. (You can also mix your favorite toppings into the ice cream for added flavor.) Grab the cookies and crumble them up. "It's going to feel like the wrong thing to do, but it's the right thing to do," Blandino says. Mix it all together.

Take a scoop of your birthday cake ice cream and place it on the flat side of one of your cookies. Stick another cookie on top, flat side down. Then, gently roll the cookie sandwich like a wheel in your sprinkle mix, coating the sides. Use your fingers or a clean paint brush to dust edible glitter on top. Once your sandwich is assembled, put it in the freezer to avoid a sticky mess.

"Delicious! It's sweet, it's cakey...," Blandino says.

Whether you've got a birthday celebration coming up or just want to make a standout dessert at home, these are sure to be a mouthwatering hit.
