'It gives you hope': Parisians enjoy sun and eased restrictions

After a grey and chilly few weeks, temperatures rose to 27 degrees Celsius (80 degrees Fahrenheit) in the French capital on Tuesday (June 1).

The sunny weather comes as France gradually lifts coronavirus restrictions, starting with the re-opening of restaurant terraces, theaters and museums on May 19.

Dining terraces, a major feature of Parisian life, and cultural sites, have attracted flocks of people, bringing a lively buzz back to the capital.
