Gisele Bündchen is getting candid about her day-to-day routine, and she's really just your average mom — besides her supermodel status, of course — who likes to follow a routine and tries her best to steer her kids in the right direction. In a new interview with Harper's Bazaar, Bündchen revealed the advice she tries to instill in her kids, Benny and Vivi.

"'The way you make your room, the way you organize and make your bed is the way you’re going to do your life,’' she said, sharing the words of wisdom she gives them. "'If you’re not learning here and now, then when and with who?’"

The model added that she does sometimes receive "pushback" on her parenting style because she and her ex-husband Tom Brady's kids split their time between two households. But that doesn't stop her from teaching them what she learned growing up.

"Sometimes, I get pushback, especially because now they’re in two different homes, and there are two different ways," she explained. "But I feel like I owe it to my kids because of what my mom taught me.”

In terms of her divorce from Brady, Bündchen is well aware that people have opinions, but she told the publication that she doesn't waste any energy on caring what the public thinks. “I can’t really worry about what other people say about me because what they say about me is none of my business," she said. "It’s really their business that they’re trying to project onto me. If I’m going to be affected by that, I’m never going to live my truth.”

Instead, Bündchen spends her time maintaining a balanced routine that includes a 5 a.m. wakeup and walk with her dogs, a daily meditation, a healthy diet, and three days of jiujitsu each week. Keeping up with her regimen (and the martial arts practice) helps her to find inner peace and combat her anxiety order (Bündchen used to suffer from panic attacks at the start of her career).

“It was almost everything I lived in my life, the way I believed in courage and honesty, and all the things I found to be important in my value system and have been guiding me in my life. They were never organized, and now they have a container.”

In addition to her healthy habits, Bündchen also credits her happiness to her home in Costa Rica, which she calls her “vortex of healing.” “People get transformed when they’re there,” she said. “They’re like, ‘I don’t need all this stuff.’ They start having an epiphany of how they want to live in a more simple way.”
