Which Gilmore Girls Character You Are, Based on Your Zodiac Sign

Gilmore Girls has delighted fans old and new since it first premiered on Oct. 5, 2000.

The show — which focuses on the unbreakable bond between Lorelai Gilmore and her daughter Rory Gilmore as she navigates high school and college — has charmed viewers with its witty and fast-paced dialogue and whimsical characters from the small town of Stars Hollow in Connecticut.

Astrologer Lisa Stardust tells PEOPLE that the Gilmore Girls resurgence is no coincidence. "Gilmore Girls is having its Jupiter return," Stardust says. When the show premiered, Jupiter was in Gemini, and on the show's 24th anniversary, Jupiter is back in Gemini once again.

With this transit, Stardust says the show is "expanding [its] fan base and having luck in streaming services" as more people tune in for their dose of Star Hollow nostalgia around the holiday season.

Read on to find out which iconic Gilmore Girls character you are based on your zodiac sign.

Aries: Paris Geller

Stardust says "Paris exudes the robust confidence of an Aries." Considered a "go-getter and high achiever," Paris "won’t stop until she attains a high GPA and perfection much to the dismay of her peers," Stardust notes, which contributed to the ongoing competition between Rory and Paris while they were in high school.

Taurus: Richard Gilmore

As the patriarch and head of the Gilmore family, Richard is responsible for upholding tradition and strives to keep things structured. Stardust says his "earthy sensibility connects him with Taurus energy because of his grounded nature and rigidity." This energy is especially prominent when he butts heads with his daughter Lorelai Gilmore, who has always pushed boundaries.

Gemini: Lorelai Gilmore

Known for her witty banter and quick one-liners, Lorelai Gilmore exudes Air sign energy. Stardust explains that since Gemini represents siblings, her relationship with her daughter Rory "is one of camaraderie, making them close and more like siblings."

Cancer: Sookie St. James

As Lorelai's best friend and eventual business partner, Sookie likes to treat her colleagues like family. Stardust says "Cancers are inclusive with whom they care about and will go to great lengths for their loved ones like Sookie."

Leo: Emily Gilmore

As the matriarch of the Gilmore family, Stardust explains that as a Leo, Emily "wants to lead her friends and the community to greatness." While she is fierce about protecting her family, she can be a tad dramatic as well but also desires love at the end of the day.

Virgo: Rory Gilmore

Down-to-earth Rory is best connected with Virgo's analytical and introspective energy. Stardust says that Rory's desire to "do what is right and work hard towards her future goals is what makes Rory a true Virgo."

Libra: Logan Huntzberger

The heir to the Huntzberger business empire is as flirty and charming as Libra placements get. As a Libra, Logan likes to have fun and Stardust says that his "wit and good looks can get him into trouble" from time to time.

Scorpio: Luke Danes

Stardust considers Luke a "transformative Scorpio" because of all of the changes and growth he goes through in the series. He tends to be secretive about his personal feelings and relationships and hides behind a grumpy mask, but his affections, especially for Lorelai and Rory, are long-standing and enduring throughout the series.

Sagittarius: Lane Kim

As Rory's musically-inclined best friend, Stardust says that her "music [taste] can take you to another world, allowing one to embrace themselves." Since Sagittarius is considered the music sign, Lane's ability to "transcend people through music" is definitely an innate trait.

Capricorn: Michel Gerard

Michel Gerard

Best known as the French concierge for the Independence Inn and Dragonfly Inn, Stardust says that as a Capricorn, Michel's legendary sarcasm "makes him the goats of all the sea goats." Michel's continuous "mind for business and lovable vibe aligns him with the virtues of the Earth sign."

Aquarius: Jess Mariano

Like a true Aquarius, Jess refused to follow the rules and conform to the small-town mindset when his mom sent him to live with Luke early on in the season. His intellect, rebellious nature and complex worldview was what Rory became attracted to in the first place. But because Aquarians question everything to understand themselves, Jess' decision to finally leave Stars Hollow (and Rory) behind to understand himself in California is not surprising.

Pisces: Dean Forester

Stardust explains that "Dean is always lost in his [feelings] and lives through them, much like the way Pisces swims through life and love." On the show, sometimes he lets his emotions get the best of him, which leads to some rash decisions like dumping Rory the first time after she couldn't tell him he loved her back or rushing into a marriage with Lindsay, despite his unresolved feelings for Rory.
