What Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik's 'Exciting' First Days With Their Baby Girl Have Been Like in NYC
Gigi Hadid welcomed her baby girl with Zayn Malik last weekend. And already, a source has spoken to E! about how the couple's first few days with their daughter have been in New York City. Hadid had a "smooth" holistic-based birth there, the source said, and is now recovering in her NoHo penthouse with Malik, Malik's mom, and her family alongside her.
The model is truly ecstatic to be a mother, the source said: "Gigi is on a high and can't believe they created an angel. She's truly so in love and has had many emotional moments while holding her baby girl."
Malik feels similarly, the source added: "Zayn was very emotional when their baby girl was born. It was an emotional and special moment for him. He expressed that he is forever changed and would never disappoint her or Gigi. He wants to be the best father possible and is so excited."
Malik and Hadid's relationship is "in the best place right now," the source added. (The two had dated on and off over the past four years.)
The couple and their family are "obsessed"with the baby, the source also said. "It's a really exciting time and they all can't get enough of her." The source added that Hadid's mom Yolanda has been staying with the couple and helping her daughter day and night. "She is planning on staying with them for a while and they all want to head back to the farm [in Pennsylvania] at some point," the source said.
Hadid and Malik both announced their daughter's birth on Instagram on Wednesday, sharing the first two photos of her. They did not announce her name yet.

"Our baby girl is here, healthy and beautiful🙏🏽❤️," Malik captioned his Instagram. "to try put into words how i am feeling right now would be an impossible task. The love I feel for this tiny human is beyond my understanding. Grateful to know her, proud to call her mine, and thankful for the life we will have together x"
