The restaurant on top of Germany's highest mountain
is gearing up to reopen on May 21
after six months of lockdown
(SOUNDBITE) (German) MANAGER OF ZUGSPITZBAHN, MATTHIAS STAUCH, SAYING:
"We have sold around 1,500 tickets online and we'll see how many remaining tickets we can issue. We expect quite a lot to be going on, because people have been in lockdown for six months so everyone wants to go out. So there will be quite a bit going on."
The mountain is near Germany’s border with Austria
The restaurant is accessible by gondola
Visitors will have to bundle up, as only outdoor dining be allowed
