German Chancellor Angela Merkel visited the village of Schuld on Sunday, July 18, after deadly floods devastated the state of Rhineland-Palatinate, according to reports.

Across Europe, more than 180 people have been killed by flooding. The death toll in Germany has risen to at least 156, with at least 110 dead in Rhineland-Palatinate, according to reports.
