Georgia Under Tornado Watch as Floodwaters Rise

Areas in eastern Georgia were put under a tornado watch on Thursday, February 6, as high winds and heavy rain blew through the region.

A massive storm system moving across the southeastern US brought rain as heavy as seven inches in one hour to some areas in Georgia, local media reported.

Brittany Dudley posted a video to Facebook showing the flooding in Hartwell. She mentioned in a private message with Storyful that there were several road closures in the area.
