Genovasi and WCEI Academy to launch professional certification programme on financial education

KUALA LUMPUR, June 19 — Genovasi University College’s (Genovasi) School of Continuing Professional Education (SCOPE) has partnered with WCEI Academy by jointly launching the Professional Certification in Financial Quotient (Financial IQ) programme.

This collaboration, which was brought to life through a signed memorandum of understanding (MoU) on June 7, hopes to bring financial literacy to students all around the world, the two institutions said in a joint statement.

“As the global economy rapidly develops, an increasing number of individuals recognise the significance of financial intelligence.

“To meet this demand, WCEI Academy and SCOPE have decided to join forces and bring financial intelligence education to the global student community,” they said.

The partnership requires both parties to develop a professional certification programme revolving around financial intelligence and covering topics such as personal branding, financial planning, tax planning, investment courses, and business management.

WCEI Academy founder Dr Stephen Choo expressed his belief as an Asian financial intelligence coach that the collaboration will provide the global Chinese community with an effective education in financial intelligence.

The statement also quoted him as saying that he hopes the partnership will gift more people with professional and practical financial intelligence courses, which will help them to achieve financial freedom.

The signing of the MoU occurred at Genovasi and was witnessed by Dr Choo and SCOPE principal Professor Thomas Leong.
