Gaza Artists Paint Mural Commemorating Slain Al Jazeera Journalist
Palestinian artists mounted a tribute to the slain Palestinian-American journalist Shireen Abu Akleh on a large wall in Gaza City on May 12, video shows.
Abu Akleh was fatally shot while covering an Israeli raid in the West Bank city of Jenin on Wednesday, May 11.
The Al Jazeera veteran’s funeral was held at the Palestinian presidential palace in Ramallah on Thursday. She was due to be buried in Jerusalem on Friday.
