Gas Station Roof Toppled During Storm in San Francisco

The canopy of a South San Francisco gas station was toppled when a storm battered the area on Wednesday, January 4, video shows.

This footage, filmed by Twitter user @Goejthatsmydj shows a collapsed roof at the Valero gas station at Callan Boulevard and King Drive. There were no immediate reports of injuries.

The National Weather Service warned heavy rain would continue throughout the night and a flood warning was in place for the entire Bay Area through Thursday.

More than 6,000 residents across the city were left without power, according to Poweroutage.us, with energy provider Pacific Gas and Electricity warning locals to prepare for “extended outages”. Credit: @Goejthatsmydj via Storyful
