GAMUDA COVE, Selangor – Gamuda Cove has recently unveiled the exciting news of confirmed openings from a diverse array of prominent tenants spanning F&B, education, and convenience sectors.

Brandon Yong, General Manager of Gamuda Cove, commented, “As the township development progresses, it is timely for us to bring in various tenants and partnerships that will strengthen the township and support a self-sustained community. We believe that when we get the places right, the town will work for the people who call it home and we are working towards achieving this for our community.

This involves not only designing homes but also considering recreational, educational, health and wellness, green, and commercial spaces.” Confirmed F&B tenants include Kenangan Coffee, which will open in May 2024, alongside MakanMakan by Serai Group and Long John Silver’s, both slated for a July 2024 opening. Notably, Long John Silver’s will make its return to Malaysia, establishing its seventh store nationwide at Gamuda Cove and joining the line-up alongside the already operational Starbucks drive-through. In the education sector, Big Apple Kindergarten is poised to open its doors in March 2024.

Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Malaysia will inaugurate its Hospitality training center in May 2024, offering students an opportunity to learn while engaging in handson practical training. Additionally, BilaBila Mart, a convenience store, along with the renowned 7-Eleven, have been providing conveniences to the community as a go-to destination for quick groceries and essentials.

In the Pipeline “We are in talks with key F&B operators, including well-known and beloved brands, alongside the addition of a leading Malaysian premium supermarket chain as a key anchor tenant for our upcoming commercial development. These additions will further enhance Gamuda Cove’s offerings and amenities, as our masterplan comes together nicely,” Yong said.

The addition of these tenants complements the recently announced ASAI Gamuda Cove hotel, slated to open in 2026. Leveraging its close proximity to Kuala Lumpur International Airport, ASAI Gamuda Cove is set to cater to both international and domestic tourists who will visit Gamuda Cove’s array of eco-tourism activities namely SplashMania Waterpark, Discovery Park and the 1,111-acre pristine Paya Indah Discovery Wetlands.

Furthermore, the introduction of these tenants coincides perfectly with the delivery of Maya Bay Residences and Enso Woods respectively in March and July 2024. Upon vacant possession, Gamuda Cove will have delivered over 1,900 units of home to customers, welcoming an anticipated 7,600 residents into the Gamuda Cove community by end of 2024.

“Our townships serve as more than just residential areas; they are vibrant hubs for exploration, outdoor activities, social connections, work opportunities, shopping, and beyond. With Gamuda Land’s established track record, accumulated over the years, we are confident in our ability to draw further strategic partnerships to Gamuda Cove, spanning healthcare, education, retail, and commercial sectors.

We look into the details to create a distinct sense of place for our developments which can be seen in the success of our completed townships like Kota Kemuning, Valencia, and Jade Hills,” Yong explained.

Gamuda Land has a strong track record in the success of its commercial properties, underscored by the substantial capital appreciation observed over the years. For instance, the 2-storey shop offices in Bandar Botanic have experienced an impressive average capital yield of 189% over the span of five years.

Following the success of Townsquare, Gamuda Cove’s first commercial comprising lifestyle retail shops which is fully sold, Gamuda Cove will be launching 112 units of European-inspired commercial shops and offices at Cove Centrum, located adjacent to SplashMania Waterpark.

The developments will be supported by Gamuda Cove’s intracity e-tram network which will bolster connectivity across the township’s 21 e-tram stops, creating seamless commute within the township. To support the overall development of Gamuda Cove, its connectivity will receive a significant boost in 2025 with the upcoming completion of a toll-free Cyberjaya Link, providing direct access to Cyberjaya, cutting the distance to a mere 2-km.

This addition complements the recently completed toll-free link to Kota Kemuning which allows travel time between Kota Kemuning and Gamuda Cove to be 15 minutes, making Gamuda Cove a highly connected and desirable location. Gamuda Cove is also in the midst of expanding its 5G service coverage and infrastructure which is set to bolster its smart city plans and be a boon for business owners aiming to be more agile, responsive, and competitive in today’s fast-paced digital economy.
