Game of Thrones actor Sean Bean 'wrestled to the floor and dragged out of bar' in Liverpool

Games of Thrones and Lord of the Rings actor Sean Bean was wrestled to the floor and dragged out of a bar in Liverpool, according to reports.

Bean was reportedly ejected from the Tom Thumb pub in Liverpool on Friday night after allegedly taking a drag from a vape while sitting in a booth inside.

The 65-year-old, who is currently filming a new BBC drama in the city, was manhandled by security and dragged outside, according to the MailOnline.

Footage of the incident shared with the tabloid appears to show a security guard with his hand on the actor’s neck before he is pulled away from his table.

It is not the first time Bean has been involved in a clash at a pub in his career and on one occasion he was even stabbed in Camden during a row over a glamour model.

A witness told MailOnline that the latest incident happened after the Sheffield-born actor ignored requests from the bar staff for him to stop vaping indoors.

The eyewitness said they thought a bouncer had gone over to take a photo with Bean but he was actually asking him to stop vaping in the bar.

They said: “Sean kept saying he could do what he wanted. To be honest he was being a right a***hole. The bouncers were just doing what they do for everyone else - which is fair enough.

“When he came back in he just started vaping again. They asked him to leave but he wouldn't. He was just clinging onto his chair.

“I was so shocked by the fight I couldn't move - my jaw just hit the floor.”

In 2012 Bean was allegedly stabbed in the arm after he confronted a man who insulted his model girlfriend outside a pub in Camden.

Witnesses said the Sharpe star leapt to the defence of April Summers after a passer-by made lewd comments.

Despite being left with a bleeding arm and a bruised face Bean refused medical treatment and went back to the bar to order another drink - where pub staff dressed his wound with a first aid kit.

A representative for Bean has been contacted for comment.
