Gabriel Harrison happy to win first song award in 20 years

13 Aug – Gabriel Harrison is happy to win the Golden Song award at the JSG Selection 2020 (Part 1) for his duet with Selena Lee, "Second Fate".

As reported on Mingpao, the singer, who appeared alongside his duet partner at the event, stated that the last time he won a song award was more than 20 years ago.

"At the time, I won Best Newcomer," he said.

Although he is in his late 40s now, Gabriel said that music has no age boundaries and hopes that he would be able to continue to make good music.

Gabriel also added that he will be filming TVB's "Children's Hospital" soon, adding that his character will have some kind of rivalry with Kenneth Ma's character.

On the other hand, his duet partner Selena stated that her management is helping her release a new single, and that she is excited about composing the music herself.

"But we will have to find time for that. I will begin filming "Barrack O'Karma 2" soon, and my Canadian series will be completed in January next year," she said.
