Gabourey Sidibe’s Husband Slams Fan Who Says She Needs to 'Keep It Sexy' After Welcoming Twins: 'You’re Unwell'

After a commenter said Sidibe looked "homeless" on Instagram, Brandon Frankel responded — and pulled no punches

Gabourey Sidibe’s husband has no time for the haters, especially when it comes to his wife.

After someone left a comment on one of Brandon Frankel’s recent posts saying that Sidibe, 41, looks “homeless,” he stuck up for his wife, completely unbeknownst to her.

On Saturday, Nov. 16, the proud husband and dad shared a photo on Instagram of the “loves of my life” — aka Sidibe and the couple’s 7-month-old twins, Cooper and Maya.

In response to the post, which showed the American Horror Story alum wearing shorts, a patterned shirt and a bandana in her hair, a commenter wrote, “Gabby I know u got babies now❤️❤️❤️ but keep it sexy your [sic] looking homeless respectfully.”

Frankel, put simply, was not having it. He wrote two separate replies, starting with, “Disrespectfully, I know you ain't talking.”

He also instructed the commenter to “go find a therapist asap, you're unwell,” before also correcting their grammar: “And it's *you're, genius.”

Sidibe was seemingly unaware of the heated exchange until someone shared a screenshot of it on X (formerly known as Twitter), writing, “The husband of @GabbySidibe? Oh he do not PLAY. 🤭.”

The Precious actress shared the X post on Friday, Nov. 22, and wrote, “Oh s---! I was not even aware of this exchange.”

“My man know I like to mind my business about what people say about me,” she continued. “He gathers and keeps it to himself. A considerate King.”

In the caption of Frankel’s family post, he also wrote a sweet message to Sidibe and their twins, whom they welcomed in April.

“The loves of my life,” he wrote. “No matter how tough things get, or how crazy the world becomes, the way you all light up when you see me just warms my heart. I love you all the most ❤️🥰😭.”

Frankel and Sidibe got married in 2021 after meeting on a dating app, the actress revealed on Live with Kelly and Ryan in late 2022.

Following the surprise announcement, Frankel posted a sweet message on Instagram alongside pictures of the couple showing off their wedding bling.

“SURPRISE! I can finally call her my WIFE publicly!” he wrote. “Since @gabby3shabby finally spilled the beans today on Live with Kelly and Ryan - we’ve been MARRIED since March ‘21! Relieved we can finally tell the world.”

“So thankful to have found my forever person, my partner-in-crime, and the love of my life,” Frankel continued. “Every day is the best day with you. Nobody I would rather raise cats with and be in bed by a smooth 8pm with. Love you forever.”
