Fyna Jebat says new husband Zainal Abidin Hassan supports her career

11 Jan - Fyna Jebat recently stated that her new husband Zainal Abidin Hassan is supportive of her singing career.

The singer shared as much after admitting finally that she has tied the knot with the former manager of the Penang FC and Melaka United football team, expressing her gratitude over the well wishes she has been receiving since the marriage made the news earlier this week.

"He gave me his consent and supported me in getting involved in Famili Duo, and that's why we won this week," she said with a laugh, referring to the reality singing competition that she joined with sister Ayda Jebat.

The confession came a week after it was rumoured that the 61-year-old football coach had tied the knot with a 29-year-old woman. The wedding was held in a hush-hush manner, it was said, with only family members and close friends in the know.

It is noted that Zainal has been married before in the 1980s and has three children. However, it was recently alleged that he is not a single father as was reported, with one Twitterian sharing photos of him and his first wife.

Zainal has declined to comment.
