Funnel Cloud Swirls in Central Illinois Amid Tornado Warnings

Severe storms caused damage in Illinois on Tuesday, January 3, according to local news reports, as the National Weather Service (NWS) issued tornado warnings for towns in the central part of the state.

Maroa, Decatur, and Forsyth were among several areas where radar-indicated tornadoes were spotted on Tuesday, according to the NWS.
