Funnel Cloud Spotted in Alabama as Dangerous Storms Pelt Southeast

A funnel cloud was spotted looming over the city of Jackson in Alabama, on Tuesday evening, November 29, as severe storms lashed the region, bringing heavy rain, hail and possible tornadoes.

Millions of residents in the country’s southeast were affected by the severe weather, with the National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center warning of a possible tornado outbreak across parts of the lower and mid-Mississippi Valley.

At least two tornadoes were confirmed on Tuesday night in Choctaw and Lowndes counties, according to local reports.
