Funeral prayers to be held at Taman Tun Dr. Ismail in KL for late actor Ashraf Sinclair

Fans, family and loved ones woke up to the shocking news of Ashraf Sinclair’s passing on Tuesday (18 February).

Yahoo Lifestyle SEA earlier reported that Malaysian actor Ashraf Sinclair passed away at the age of 40 after suffering from a heart attack, according to news site Liputan6.com. He married Indonesian actress Bunga Citra Lestari in 2008 and they have a son, Noah Sinclair.

His brother, Adam Sinclair, shared on his Facebook page that there will be funeral prayers at a mosque in Taman Tun Dr. Ismail in Kuala Lumpur.

“It is with deepest regret to announce the passing of my beloved brother, Ashraf Daniel Sinclair, this morning in Jakarta,” he wrote. “There will be a solat jenazah ghaib today for Zohor at Masjid At-taqwa Taman Tun Dr Ismail.

“Even though he and my immediate family will not be there, most of my relatives will be there.

“He is one of my favourite people, and I am very fond of him as I know a lot of you are too. Please do attend to send him off with love, respect and kindness.”

Sinclair also added there will be another round of funeral prayers tonight at Surau Sec 3 Shah Alam.
