Thousands joined a funeral procession in Naypyitaw on February 21 for a woman who died from injuries sustained during a pro-democracy protest earlier in the month, Radio Free Asia reported.
Mya Thwe Thwe Khaing died on February 19 after being shot by police during a protest in the capital city on February 9, Frontier Myanmar reported. Doctors told Al Jazeera that she had been hit by a live bullet.
