The National Weather Service issued a wind chill warning for northern Minnesota extending through the weekend as they advised residents to stay indoors.
According to local forecasters, the arctic blast will hit the region during the weekend.
Wind chill factors are expected to lower at 30 Fahrenheit degrees (-6 degrees Celsius) with an eventual rise of the temperature on Tuesday (February 16).
