Frontline Workers Watch Air Guard Flyover From Scottsdale Hospital Roof

The US Air Force and Arizona Air Guard conducted a flyover in Arizona on May 1 to honor those working in the frontlines in the fight against COVID-19.

Fifteen jets, consisting of seven F-35A fighters, seven F-16 fighters and a KC-135 tanker, took off from Luke Air Force Base at approximately 3:10 pm local time and flew over Buckeye, Luke, Litchfield Park, Surprise, Waddell, Goodyear, Tolleson, Phoenix and Tempe before heading over Chandler, Gilbert, Mesa, Scottsdale, Deer Valley, Glendale, Peoria, Sun City West, and El Mirage.
