Fresno Residents Feel 5.8-Magnitude California Earthquake

A 5.8-magnitude earthquake hit central California the morning of Wednesday, June 24, the United States Geological Survey (USGS) reported.

The quake, which hit the area around 10.40 am local time, occurred nearly three miles underground and its epicenter was around 10 miles southeast of Lone Pine, according to the USGS.
