French Workers March as Unions Call for National Strike

Workers marched in towns and cities across France on February 4 as several major labor unions jointly called for a strike.

This footage, by Bill Denbrough, shows workers and students marching through Lyon.

The CGT, France’s biggest union, said the strike was in support of public services, job development and creation, and against growing insecurity, or “précarité”. Credit: Bill Denbrough via Storyful
