French winemakers are using candles to fight frost
Cold spring snaps are threatening their crops
This winemaker put out between 300-600 large candles
[Laurent Pinson, saying:] "The climate is changing and winegrowing will probably be the cultivation which will be the first to be impacted by climate change. The growing cycles are getting shorter and shorter, they change, they accelerate which leads to a vicious circle because the shorter the growing cycle is, the earlier vines will start growing in the season and be subjected to negative temperatures early on, such as now in April."
