'Free Iran' Float Parades Around Dusseldorf as Part of Annual Carnival Celebrations
A float depicting Iran’s fight for freedom was paraded through Dusseldorf, Germany, as part of carnival celebrations on February 20.
Footage by Alethea Magazine shows the float depicting an Iranian mullah tangled in a woman’s uncovered hair, with the words “Free Iran” inscribed on her head. The float refers to demonstrations in Iran, and subsequent arrests and executions, following the death of Mahsa Amini in September, 2022.
